Our center in the environment
Fraga III is located on the right bank of the Cinca river, in the middle of the neighborhood of Las Afueras, towards the western part of our population. It is an area of orchards, in expansion, sunny, quiet, with recent single-family houses, near the center of Health and of the Region, to the sports facilities of our town, to the park of the Pinada ... is a new center, well communicated and attractive.
The center is built by the breakdown of CEIP San José de Calasanz as a result of the concentration of population in the new part of the city. School demand had increased so much to this area that the center was "overpopulated" schooling, above its infrastructure possibilities: students in prefabricated areas, reduced recreation areas ...
It begins in 2015-2016 with plurilingual characteristics in which the different areas of the curriculum are taught in three languages: Spanish Language (Mathematics and Spanish Language), Catalan Language (Catalan Language, Religion / Values and Natural Sciences) and English Language English Language, Physical Education, Arts and Social Sciences) according to his linguistic project. In its beginnings it is endowed with a management team and students from CEIP San José de Calasanz, in the same town with 38% immigrant students.
From here, he will begin a solo career in which he will have to acquire and develop his potentials in order to equip his school population with the resources and the training that will enable them to develop democracy, with equal opportunities, by congratulating the welfare and Integration in the environment so that it allows them to be prepared to approach other similar or differentiated realities in our country or abroad.
It has good computing resources in all classrooms, computer room ... to be used as the most attractive work tool of our time. There is a cold line dining service whose perspective is to offer adequate habits in hygiene, coexistence, food ...
All this is distributed in three buildings:
